The second edition of the Madeira Autonomous Region (OPRAM)’s Participatory Budget reserves five million for projects that citizens and entities (clubs, schools, associations, among others) want to promote with their respective communities. After being in Porto Santo to make the presentation of this edition, the regional secretary of Finance was this afternoon in Ribeira Brava.
In the audience, as host of the meeting, the mayor of the mayor, Ricardo Nascimento, who on the margin expressed satisfaction at the possibility that, through this initiative of the responsibility of the Regional Government, to which entities of the county can apply their projects to available funding.
Rogério Gouveia presented how the application is processed and highlighted the fact that, thanks to the good policies of the executive, it was possible to increase from 2.5 to 5 million the available budget, which will encompass all municipalities and also inter-city projects.
Technicians from the Regional Government, from the various OPRAM intervention areas, were present and soon after the presentation ceremony were available to take questions, discuss, debate and help citizens interested to better structure their ideas.
