Reacting to the misgivings about the AstraZeneca vaccine against covid-19, the President of the Regional Government stressed that there is no indication from the WHO or the European Medicines Agency to interrupt its administration, so the vaccination process will run smoothly
“Everything is going well,” assured Miguel Albuquerque, on the sidelines of a visit to the Convent of Santa Clara, in Funchal. “This issue was raised, but are effects as there is in the flu vaccine or any other vaccine. At this moment there is no recommendation from the WHO or the European agency for the vaccine to stop being administered.”
The ruler reinforced that “the goal is to have all about 9 thousand teachers and educational assistants all vaccinated until the day 9, and students tested until the day 16 April, to start all education cycles with the best safety conditions”.
